It seems to be good at member management, and provides a simple payment system. Weakpoints: Poor at content management, and no ability to integrate CMS, Forums etc. It is recommended for beginner to advanced, you should know some basic HTML to create the header, footer and content. | I use this for one of my sites, and I'm pleased after it's all up and running. Getting it up and running is a bit of a challenge. First, I must qualify this review in terms of the price I paid last year for V.2 which was $297. I wouldn't pay $997 for this. Installation was straightforward, and it has a lot of great features, and very similar to the butterfly marketing script in terms of built-in OTO's, content drip, various levels, content access and member management. Setting up the site and configuring it was a little tricky, and not always apparent from the tutorial videos and written instructions. Support was spotty, and at times nonexistent - especially prior to and during launch. Also, if you want to use a full graphics site design, ( more than any floating header, and footer in whitespace) it was very difficult to get the template to work, and finding someone who knew how to do it. It was also a little buggy, for example whether or not you used www in your url made a difference and users having difficulty logging in and/or downloading content. For $297 for an unlimited site license, and if you can find somebody to build the site and manage it, it's a good deal. For $997, I would look elsewhere. |
