Required Software: None - Hosted Description: Memberstar is a hosted solution. They offer a WYSIWYG editor to edit pages. Also included are forums, polls and autoresponders. It has a built in affiliate program You will not be able to do anything that requires customization of the code. It is recommended for beginner to advanced users and it may be a good solution if your requirements meet their abilities.

Horrible...Ugly... At Their Mercy

Please PASS on this software. Not only were the templates UGLY and uncustomizable, you are at their complete mercy. They had server problems galore. I have never been SO happy to end my affiliation with a company. So many headaches. Heck, just ask Jeff Johnson who ran his initial $25,000 coaching program on it. It was a nightmare for us as participants...and took our access down several times for days on end. The marketers of this product do KNOW better. But I guess they just don't care. BASED on what they did with it before, I wouldn't care IF they were able to finally get it right. They put a DEFECTIVE product on the market, took people's money and messed with the uptime of their membership site - which undoubtedly cost smaller players members.
